After graduating college with a B.A. in Economics and B.A. in Mathematics, I continued to read and evaluate the economy to get a better understand on where the U.S. was heading. However, I realized that economic topics and issues seem to get lost or misunderstood when reported by the experts. The heavy jargon from the Federal Reserve speaking on monetary policy to investors speaking out against the U.S. government for their government-sponsored enterprises can make most people ask, what the heck is he talking about?

That’s where I come in. It is time to simplify economics. I want to make sure that consumers know what businesses and the government are doing to make the economy run. If the government and/or businesses are not working on the behalf of the U.S. consumer, then we should know about it. This matters and perhaps after keeping up with the blog, you’ll be able to share your knowledge of the U.S. economic activity at your next cocktail party.
